Fine Arts
Central has a tradition of excellence in both academics and the Fine Arts. Our mission is to offer study and training in the various Fine Arts disciplines with opportunities for performance, exhibition, and publication. Eligible applicants for the Fine Arts Program must be rising 9th or 10th graders with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and in good standing with the disciplinary code of their present school. The Fine Arts Magnet Program is open to all students, regardless of zoned school location. Students must apply and be accepted into the Fine Arts Program and complete all 4 years to be eligible for the Fine Arts Seal.

At CHS, we offer a comprehensive 4-year Fine Arts Program. Students take four years of their chosen Fine Art, with the option of taking IB as well as other Fine Arts classes. Each Fine Art program has performances, galleries, classes, and after school activities specific to their discipline. |
