Mr. Carter

Mr. Carter holds a B.A. in Commercial Design and an M.S. in Environmental Health from Fort Valley State University. With a strong foundation in both creative and technical disciplines, he brings a unique perspective to visual communication. Mr. Carter has also completed specialized training in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, equipping him with the tools to bring bold, engaging ideas to life.

Ms. Bolt

Mrs. Bolt is passionate about helping students explore their creativity and develop their artistic voice. She believes in building a supportive classroom community where every student feels inspired to take risks, experiment with different media, and grow both technically and personally. With a focus on creativity, collaboration, and innovation, Mrs. Bolt encourages her students to push boundaries and discover their full potential as artists.

 

 

The Visual Arts program will target advanced students and present them with scaffolded challenges to push them to their next level. Student will be exposed to portfolio building and enrichment activities/events.

Audition Requirements: Visual Arts
1. Interview with a Visual Arts faculty member at a prearranged appointment.
2. On site drawing exercise to be explained by Visual Arts faculty prior to interview.
3. Portfolio of at least 5-10 strong pieces of artwork (to be viewed and discussed at interview).
4. Compliance with all Fine Arts Dept. criteria including completion of online application with teacher recommendations, transcripts, etc.
